Some of you may already know this but for those of you who do not – well, I have been writing a book about life in the 70’s and it is time to start putting some of the chapters of the book on Bea-isms. This is my way of letting you all share in the writing of this book by sharing some of your own experiences pertaining to each chapter. If you are not yet seventy and still want to share that is ok too.

I look forward to publishing some of my chapters on Bea-isms and will do so soon.

Some of us in our late 70s were born prior to WW2 and grew up when our dads, relatives and neighborhood teenagers were away at war for years; many who never returned.

I well remember walking to the half mile to St Gerards school in Hollis NY seeing myriad blue star, and sadfully gold star flags in the windows.

In 1946, dad was assigned to the far east by AP, and we lived in Tokyo for 5 years.

Upon returning, he was assigned to the White House and we lived in nearby VA.

did not treat my fellow Americans equally.

In Japan during the occupation those citizens were afforded better education, ability to commingle, socialize and in my youth we played baseball together.
