Bea, I’m so glad you got this up! Wonderful job, so informative and balanced. Thank you, and thanks to Mr. Winchester.

  2. Sandspur says:

I so enjoyed this interview! Great job done by both host and guest.

  3. Bea-isms says:

Many thanks to my son Glen in Columbus Ohio for researching and helping me to get this accomplished. He is a cool guy even though he is a bit of a geek. He has an IT recruiting company called the Vortechs Group so he speaks in tech talk thus….bea-isms on air. yippee.

For any legitimate sale or merger it is necessary to be able to believe the statements made from behind the dais.

Watch the 6-21-2011 Vero Beach City Council Meeting on video stream on the City website. You won’t find Mr. Heady’s full comments in the minutes; but the video is clear.

At minute marker 44.50 Mr. Heady states he was there (on the day in question) and went in as Ms. Carroll came out (?) and asked GAI and staff questions. Mr. Heady also defended council position as not doing anything wrong…how can he speak for the others if he was not there, or was he there?

I called Wayne Coment’s office and Mr. Coment said Mr. Heady was not ‘in on the meeting’. Did Mr. Heady listen at the door, did he fabricate the story he told of being there?

If Mr. Heady was there also, that puts the council count at 4 attending that meeting, whether or not you want to count who’s hanging out by the door.

The Sunshine Law clearly states no more than 1 commission, council or board member may attend meetings where issues that will be brought up for a vote and have not been properly advertised or open to the public. Florida State Law.

This council spends a lot of time defending their actions and covering each other’s statements.

  5. Ken Daige says:

Deb and I listened in and found this segment with you and Mr. Winchester informative. Our hope is more and more voters take time and carefully listen with open minds to what their elected officials are doing.

  6. Bea-isms says:

Thanks everybody for paying attention. Tell all your friends to stay close to Bea isms too so that everyone starts to get an education about what the city is up against.

  7. Ken Daige says:

Bea, see my comment under beaisms chit-chat about Mr. Winchester’s comment under the tcpalm article:

    http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2011/jul/11/vero-beachs-city-attorney-recommends-no-private/

The comments have been disabled, making it even more difficult to educate the voting public about the ‘cure’, the referendum and the RFQ for Vero’s fuel obligation.
